AKAINA GHOSH completed their MFA in Graduate Acting at NYU Tisch in 2025. They are represented by Framework Entertainment.

Akaina’s specialties include music composition, devised theater, and ensemble performance. Akaina has worked across the United States and around the globe, debuting works in New York, Los Angeles, Switzerland, Greece, and the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Select performances include Cecily in Plot Points in Our Sexual Development (New Conservatory Theater Center), Ghostie in Phantasmagoria (Cutting Ball Theater), Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream (San Francisco Shakespeare Festival), and Tilly (Theater Bay Area Award Nomination) in Time Sensitive (Ragged Wing Ensemble).

Akaina is passionate about reconstructing historically significant narratives through a gender expansive lens and generating new works that center queer voices and perspectives.
